A London based Architectural practice are seeking an experienced Studio Manager to support their growing team. The practice specialises in Architecture and Urbanism within the residential sector. The ideal candidate will be a responsible leader in several aspects of the development of the company, through administration of the office, management of the property, HR and financial support.


  • Provide administrative support to the team
  • Act as bookkeeper and financial support such as invoicing, sending statements, payments, and budgeting
  • Provide HR support and organise CPDs and other staff welfare needs
  • Manage the day-to-day needs of the practice such as ordering stationary and supplies
  • Lead the studio assistant in tasks and responsibilities
  • Take meeting minutes, manage image library and timesheets
  • Organise marketing events and manage/create content for social media platforms
  • Manage the building and its tenants and organise/manage any maintenance or contracting work it may need
  • Provide IT support to the team and liaise with IT provider

Key skills:

  • Experience in an administrative role managing finance, HR and office management responsibilities within the creative industry
  • Experience in managing budgets, confidential and sensitive information and documents
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Ability to manage several people's requests and priorities at once
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experience in bookkeeping and bookkeeping software, preferably Xero
  • High proficiency level of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Adobe InDesign beneficial
