The Senior Marketing Executive will look after the multi-channel marketing activity for the business whilst ensuring the team's workload is allocated and actioned appropriately. Ensuring all marketing communications are accurate, on brand and compliant.

The successful Senior Marketing Executive will be responsible for:

* Organising and allocating the Marketing Department's workload among the Marketing Executives
* Identifying shortfalls in product and process knowledge among Marketing team members, and recommend training and development as necessary
* Developing and cross training the Marketing team
* Carrying out such work as may be normally required of the Marketing Executives in their absence
* Assist, when required, the Digital Senior Marketing Executive in the department's digital marketing activity including customer website experience, research, campaign set up and evaluation, report writing and development of CRM usage
* Managing the design, copy writing, proofing, production and distribution of all marketing materials
* Ensuring that the company websites are up to date
* Ensuring that the Marketing department delivers on its objective of proactively engaging with potential and existing customers
* Ensuring that intermediaries receive regular communications on new and existing products, criteria changes, events and mortgage product refreshes
* Producing copy for both the web and offline communications ensuring tone of voice guidelines are followed; that all communications are clear, fair and not misleading to customers, and they meet the appropriate compliance requirements
* Assisting the Head of Marketing in research and the interpretation of the needs of both potential and current customers
* Staying informed of industry news and legislation, as well as competitor activity
* Identifying market and competitive trends and react to opportunities and threats appropriately
* Assisting in the organisation of onsite and offsite B2B & B2C exhibitions etc


The successful applicant will have:

* Previously managed a direct report or held a managerial position
* Experience of coordinating cross-channel marketing campaigns
* Experience of organising events
* Experience of conducting customer and market research
* Ability to evaluate the success of marketing campaigns and take corrective measures where necessary
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Very strong organisation and planning skills
* Comfortable following set processes and procedures
* Confident communicator
* Previous experience in FS desirable
