As the Brand Manager you will report into the Head of Brand, managing and delivering the brand strategy across both B2B and B2C markets.


Client Details

My client has been manufacturing ingredients for over 100 years and are category captains with most of the multiples. Having recently broken into international markets they are planning for growth and looking to hire a new brand manager.


Description

Based between their sites in Liverpool and North Manchester you will be responsible for implementing the brand strategy for their most profitable brand.



Duties include:



* Writing and updating the Rainbow Dust brand plan and agreeing implementation with the Head of Marketing and Board

* Ensuring that the brand is aligned with its core values and effectively differentiated in terms of target channels and consumers.

* Ensuring that all external agencies and internal colleagues are aligned.

* Ensuring that the brand is aligned with its core values and effectively differentiated in terms of target channels and consumers.

* Ensuring compliance in all aspects across the business.

* Working with the digital team to maintain and grow digital social media and updates to the website as appropriate.

* Ensuring that the branded product range and Secondary/Tertiary brands & private label is appropriate for the various territories and channels required for the business as well as being strategically aligned to the brand Product Strategy by way of analysing product and channel performance and proposing existing or new product development briefs to drive growth and subsequently consulting and working appropriately with the B2B and B2C commercial teams in delivery.

* Ensuring branded & private label products and their trade pricing are aligned to channel needs and profit targets and that the product attributes are clearly and specifically oriented to the relevant channels.

* Developing and circulating range and product presentations for Trade sell-ins for both B2B and B2C sectors.

* Providing an effective service and support to Head of Brand and UK Commercial Director as required.


Profile

The successful Brand Manager will be:



* A Marketer with 'full mix' experience, with a bias toward Brand and Product management in both B2C and B2B environments.

* A strong working knowledge of Market Data/insight (e.g. Kantar, Dunn Humby or similar).

* Proven track record in dealing with external marketing agencies, relating to brand/design and insight.

* Commercially literate with the ability to implement and manage pricing planning for both existing and new products

* Proven experience in managing and delivering successful new product development.

* Ability to create compelling product and range proposals for B2C and B2B trade customers highlighting product attributes and commercial benefits.

* Experience of successfully managing people with a personable, encouraging and inclusive approach.



* The ability to work independently and self-sufficiently to consistently high standards and to be able to easily prioritise workload with minimal supervision or direction.

* Degree and CIM Diploma preferred.


Job Offer

Salary DOE + car/ car allowance + 27 days holiday + health care
