Full time (35 hrs/wk), fixed term (until 31 July 2019)
Based central Reading, Berkshire

University College of Estate Management (UCEM) is the leading international provider of supported online learning for the Built Environment, with over 90 years' experience in providing the highest quality learning opportunities for the industry.  UCEM offers a range of property-related academic programmes, as well as providing professional development and tailor-made corporate training courses.  

You will be accountable for UCEM's marketing communication and brand strategy where you will, to name a few;

  • Drive marketing and PR activities to increase the value and impact of the UCEM brand.
  • Design and implement marketing and communication strategies to generate interest.
  • Lead all marketing engines and channels.
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness.
  • Define and drive key corporate and consumer messages.
  • Develop and motivate the Marketing Team.

To succeed in this role, you will be educated to degree level and hold strong marketing and communication strategy experience. You will have a successful track record with digital marketing strategies and implementation as well as strong experience in managing multiple projects across several stakeholders. You will understand B2C marketing strategy and management and have an understanding of consumer/student behaviours and buyer decision making. Being client focused, and having a client focussed attitude, is an essential criterion for this role. As well as a vast amount of essential qualities, a marketing and/or business development relation qualification is desirable along with Higher Education marketing experience.
