Create and implement the overall fund strategy for the University and meet the ambitious fundraising targets. Through targeted DM campaigns, telethon campaigns and giving days deliver ROI.

Client Details

With over 125 years of history, my client is a leading higher education facility that has recently undergone a £400 million investment in it's main campus including £16 million being spent on the new library and £4.5 million on the new Arts Centre. Now ranked in the top 10 Universities in the UK.


The successful applicant will be responsible for:

* Developing and implementing the DM fundraising strategy
* Recruit supporters and volunteers to help in the delivery of all activity
* Manage all external agencies including designers, printers and data agencies
* Manage both off and online activity including web content and development, email and social media
* Manage budgets and expenditure as well as producing forecasts and financial reports
* One direct report - Fundraising Co-ordinator
* Implementing a test and learn culture and advising on best next steps and identifying opportunities


To be considered for this role you will need to have:

* A professional qualification OR vocational/relevant experience in a similar role
* Experience managing and running direct mail campaigns
* Experience in telephone fundraising
* Experience managing agencies
* Proven ROI experience
* The ability to travel nationally (and internationally on the rare occasion)
* An analytical approach
* Excellent customer/client service skills
* Strategic experience

Job Offer

Up to £47,000 depending on experience + 25 days holiday and extensive benefits
