Our client is a market leading global consumer brand and they have an exciting new role for an E-Commerce Marketing Manager covering the EMEA region. The key focus of the E-Commerce Marketing Manager EMEA is the development and activation of digital shopper marketing campaigns across their branded websites and retailers‘ websites. You will take the business priorities, the brand and relevant channel plans and recommend engaging online shopper marketing activations that work across Europe and will provide needed support and education to all EMEA markets.

The business has the ambition to be the best-in-class supplier and strategic partner to their major accounts and as E-Commerce Marketing Manager EMEA you will play a key role in this core function, focusing on maximising business opportunities to drive sustainable value, through unrivalled consumer, shopper and customer understanding and engagement.

  • Contribute to country specific e-commerce digital shopper marketing plans and promotional activity by effectively influencing local Commercial and Marketing teams
  • Analyse and interpret multiple data sources (commissioned insight, internal company and retailer data, broader market intelligence & trends) and use insights to influence e-commerce shopper marketing activity and campaigns
  • Forecast budget requirements, create the seasonal plan of E-Commerce Shopper Marketing support, and build these into annual marketing and brand plans, and account plans
  • Ensure all plans maximise ROI - work with relevant agencies to ensure cost-effective and targeted media activity
  • Work cross functionally with the EMEA Brand, Product and Digital teams and sales teams in each market to ensure all plans are aligned and fully maximised
  • Influence and shape the brand strategy by championing the shopper and developing the customer & shopper marketing strategy with focus on maximising our leadership online
  • Lead a set of processes to improve 2-way communication within the EMEA team and also between the EMEA team and all markets
  • Carry out regular online store audits to ensure consistency of online retailer content across all EMEA markets and analyse competitor e-commerce presence
  • Share best in class case studies from different markets and from other industries - to help grow our EMEA business online
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of E-Commerce Marketing skills, digital shopper knowledge, systems, processes and procedures - at central and local level
  • Work on additional projects as identified to ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness of the function within the business
  • NPD, E-Commerce Category management and Shopper activation
  • Create detailed digital communications plans that maximise our products visibility on retailer websites to capitalise on our marketing investment
  • Lead e-commerce marketing plan and implementation for key NPD launches in EMEA region
  • Ensure we are using the most appropriate search terminology by market to help boost our brands visibility on retailer websites
  • Develop enhanced product assets for use on retailers’ websites
  • Drive category management approach with our key online retailers, create retailer brand stores, supporting local teams
Experience Required:
  • Minimum 5 years of solid, diverse e-commerce marketing experience
  • Excellent knowledge and hands on experience with Amazon Marketing Services, AMG
  • Experience of working within Central / Regional marketing function is preferred
  • Fluency in foreign languages is a plus
  • Excellent project management skills
