An exciting opportunity to be part of multifunctional team working with marketing colleagues based in a number of European markets.  The role of the Insights team is to drive operational and creative strategies through the analysis of customer behaviour trends and competitor performance.  The primary purpose of this position is to define and deliver our client's approach to big data and social listening, therefore we seek someone with strong digital analyst experience, (likely gained from a media agency/smaller research agency focussed on digital), and experience in social listening. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Define and embed European wide consumer/shopper/provider trends.
  • Use big data to create a consistent approach to continuously measure/report brand equity and the factors influencing equity.
  • Build consumer sentiment into monthly communications effectiveness reviews.
  • Effectively manage relationships with the social listening agency and future big data agencies.
  • Influence the traditional and digital media planning agencies through digital/big data analytics in order to optimise execution.
  • Own digital research plans (pre and in-market tests).
  • Lead the transformation to using digital/big data as the primary tool to understand performance and consumer/shopper/provider lead growth opportunities.
