This role is a great opportunity for an energetic media relations star with a good knowledge of the world of business and finance to make the leap from an agency into an in-house PR Executive role.

Working within a friendly team for a high-profile international law firm operating at the cutting edge of the corporate and financial world, the successful candidate will focus on building an in-depth understanding of the business units at the firm, while developing deep and long-lasting relationships with target journalists and playing a crucial role in the firm's busy press office. The PR Executive will be responsible for consistently increasing the profile of the Finance and Capital Markets practice areas in particular, managing the activity in support of the practices on a day to day basis and supporting in the development of the firm's strategy. This role will also play a key part in promoting the firm's Corporate Responsibility agenda as well as supporting the PR for the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. The candidate will be expected to take a keen interest in the legal sector and the broader business arena, and have the ability to translate the intellectual capital of the firm into compelling content for target media outlets.

The firm is looking for a confident and determined individual, with proven experience of working in a busy public relations environment, preferably in an agency role focused on b2b or financial work and a successful track record of managing projects and responsibility for the day to day delivery of client account work. Experience of working with professional services clients would be an advantage but is not a prerequisite. The PR Executive should also be a bright graduate with a demonstrable enthusiasm and aptitude for media relations, with evidence of good media relationships and delivering results within tier one media targets, persuasive oral and written communication and a good understanding of social media in the B2B context.
