An excellent regional events role has arisen in a leading national law firm. The Events Executive will work within the Events team and be responsible for the design and execution of a range of events activities across the firm.

Based in either Birmingham or Manchester, the Events Executive will work within the Client & Market Development team in a national role that requires travel to other offices. Working closely with a group of Marketing Executives to support their marketing and campaign plans, the successful candidate will help to design, develop and deliver a range of client and prospect events and hospitality activities in-line with business plans to create brand awareness, generate new business opportunities and support existing client relationships. You will be responsible for managing the events calendar for the firm, researching and providing detailed proposals and managing event budgets. The role holder will develop and manage all event support materials including event invitations and own the development of the events RSVP processes and booking system to ensure all systems operate effectively and efficiently and keeping internal clients up to date. You will be tasked with booking event venues and, working with local fee earners, support key events on-site ensuring that all events run smoothly. Assisting with the post events analysis including feedback capture and evaluation of ROI will form an important element of the role.

The Events Executive will be confident, organised and pragmatic, with a team-oriented attitude, and will possess both strong communication skills and a good eye for detail. This role would suit an events professional with previous, hands on experience of organising and managing events and client functions in either a business-to-business or a professional services environment. Previous experience of working in a law firm would be advantageous but is not essential.
