An Interim internal communications opportunity has arisen within a higher education institution based in Brighton.

Our client is a higher education institution based in Brighton.


The Internal Communications team is responsible for communicating to all staff and students across the campus. Reporting into the Internal Communications Manager you will lead on communication and campaign planning and implementation for current students including segmentation and targeting.

The role will also ensure that the current undergraduate and postgraduate students receive important information that they need to know and when they need to know it. The messages must be aligned with other internal and external communications work, and the role will also support the university to proactively manage crises relating to current students.

This is a really exciting time to join the University and will provide an opportunity to be an important part through the student journey communications!


The successful candidate will have internal communications experience and be familiar with comms planning and campaigns, but also be able to hit the ground running with dotmailer, SharePoint and communications tools/platforms.

Good copy writing skills are a must. This is a really tactical delivery role and an individual with the right mindset will be able able to find great ways of improving ways of working, and take pride in the quality of delivery.
