Category Manager role as follows:

- Holistic evaluation of category performance through weekly analysis of sales, promotional activity, customer metrics & then provide monthly market performance reports ensuring all stakeholders are up to date on the latest trends.

- Consistent reviews and research of all customer insights and behaviour.

- Driving retailer growth, based upon in depth understanding of the market and customer trends, provide monthly and quarterly presentations to help facilitate this growth.

- Integral to shaping the new product development plan taking into account customer behaviour and macro trends.

- Experience of using market data (Nielsen, IRI, Dunnhumby, Aimia & Kantar)

- Management of Marketing and Research budget, liaising with media and research agencies to maximise ROI.


The successful candidate will be as follows:

- An effective communicator at all levels.

- Ability to present, persuade and influence.

- Strong relationship builder.

- Attention to detail and ability to be creative when necessary.

- Previous experience of being a Category Manager within a FMCG business.
