A highly-regarded and long-established barristers' chambers is looking to recruit a seasoned marketing and events specialist who will thrive in a standalone position developing and expanding the marketing of chambers. The Part-Time Marketing & Events Manager will work 4 days per week.

This position will involve both planning and full implementation The role holder will be responsible for the day to day publicising of chambers' activities and the work of individual barristers and practice groups via social media, including tweeting, posting blogs and updating the chambers website, with some copywriting, under barrister editorial control. You will organise a variety of events, such as internal and external seminars and in-house drinks functions for targeted solicitor clients, compiling invitee lists, locating venues and caterers, producing marketing materials, co-ordinating timely production of speakers' papers and display slides and troubleshooting as required. The Marketing & Events Manager will also be tasked with co-ordinating chambers and individual entries for the main legal directories and data inputting and administration, including keeping the chambers database up to date and useable.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated graduate with high-quality marketing experience within the UK legal profession, including digital marketing and some events management. A confident self-starter, able to work with minimum supervision, The Marketing & Events Manager will possess a high level of both written and verbal communication allied with excellent organisational and IT and social media skills and knowledge. It is essential that applicants are efficient with a high attention to detail and enjoy working under pressure, meeting conflicting deadlines and juggling multiple projects and tasks.
