My client, a prestige blue chip business in Liverpool, is looking to recruit a Events Coordinator to cover a 9 month fixed term contract. Applicants must be available to start work and commit to this maternity contract. You will have a strong events background with some marketing experience, ideally within a commercial capacity ie, leisure or children's entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate schedules for specific events, working with campaign team to coordinate all official appearances and marketing channel activity
Develop, build relationships and engage with key contacts within the Foundation and marketing team, coordinating and communicating an agreed calendar of events
Working with key stake holders
Develop the character of the brand requirements and guidance, ensuring professionalism and conduct is maintained
Ensure that the programme is kept relevant and updated regularly to help enhance the brand image, ensuring the programme is delivered within the budget the role is accountable for
Present to large groups of children and adults ensuring delivery is clear, relevant and engaging
Organise and be accountable for operations including creativity, repair, care, cleaning, maintenance
Responsible for overseeing and taking lead, ensure developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards
Promote the protection of children and report any concerns identified without delay. To conduct self in a manner of openness and integrity which would not cause a reasonable person to questions your actions or intentions in particular in relation to interactions with children
Build and execute social media strategy by generating, editing and publishing daily content that is relevant for the brand and audience. Continuously improve by capturing and analysing the appropriate social data insights and then acting on the information
Report all key figures and feedback from activity through monthly KPI reports, sharing with immediate marketing team

Skills Required:
Must have event management experience, with some marketing exposure - essential
Experience of working in a leisure or entertainment environment - desirable
Experience of working with children in an events capacity- desirable
You must be creativity, sense of humour and energetic
Good time management and organisation skills
A good decision maker
Excellent at relationship building
Quick thinker and flexible- able to manage a number of projects
Able to act as brand ambassador and representative of high profile clients
Have a solid understanding of how social media channel works and how to optimise content
Must be flexible working occasional weekends
