The Export Sales Manager will be based from the Manchester head office and will be responsible for managing a network of agents and distributors overseas. Predominantly spending time with customers in the Europe and the Middle East the role involves sales, forecasting, business analysis, promotional opportunities and attending trade shows.
Established over a century ago, our client is a brand leader in its market. Specialising in high tech manufacturing the company has sales in excess of £200 million. As the company continues to grow in international markets the sales team has created a new Export Sales Manager role as the sales team expands. Responsibilities include:

Management of Distribution Partners as well as direct customers

Achievement of the P&L budget in the defined accounts

Advancement & support for implementation of marketing initiatives throughout the distributor network

Working in partnership with Distributors to develop and win further business

Range maximisation

Successful candidates will be operating in either manufacturing or the construction product sector and have experience in an International sales position. You will have worked extensively with Distribution Partners and be used to driving sales through the relationship, as well as having experience of working directly with customers.
