Our client is on the search for a Product Development Lead to help forge the future path of the marketing function within the company.

The Product Development Lead role is based around knowledge and detail. We are searching for a candidate who is hungry for improvement and success; along with an eye for small details which can make all the difference.

Product Marketing will be a key part of the role, and somebody with the ability to quickly learn and understand product will do well here. The role of Product Development Lead will also require management of senior stake holders and high volume of inbound information. There is lots of product within this role- so a candidate who is comfortable in this area would be best suited.

This role will have two direct reports, and will look to drive the success of the marketing function through example and leadership.

The role includes: developing the product, to launching the product itself and then rolling it out to market. You will also be required to keep a watchful eye on trends, and they can could benefit the business- while also analysing competitors of the business to ensure forward thinking and first class innovation. User interface and usability will also be integral to the role.

The role also requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail and project management skills.


A candidate who knows and understands product will succeed here. We are looking for a candidate who isn't afraid of systems, with a get it right first time outlook; handling challenging priorities will be key to the success of the role.

We need a person who wants to stay ahead of the competition through innovation and intuition, and who holds themselves with confidence. A flair for relationship building is required, and one who can build and maintain rapport with all levels of the business.

An experienced individual would fit in well, and the ability to quickly understand the business is a must. The business itself is centred around great service, and as such, keeping and improving this reputation is paramount. The client is a premium brand, and the individual should exude this premium style in everything they do.

With developed in-depth knowledge of the clients products, the day-to-day will involve collaboration across multi-discipline teams, prioritising activities and being accountable for the delivery of products, solutions, features and new functionality

The chosen candidate will also own and maintain the Group's product roadmaps.

A candidate from an Automotive, Technology or digital background would do well here.
