My client is a global Events business based in Richmond


Description

The Marketing Manager will have the following responsibilities;



Strategy- Develop marketing strategies with the team to meet overall event objectives





Planning Campaign Management & Implementation- Manage, develop and implement all marketing initiatives with specific focus on buyer programmes









Information Analysis- Evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data to produce effective and engaging marketing plans. Identify gaps and new market sectors to develop







Communications- Excellent copywriting skills across all marketing disciplines and ability to source content for communication







Internal/External relationships- Proactively establishing and maintaining effective working internal and external relationships with all support departments, industry partners, trade associations and our advisory panels - both locally and globally







Budget Management- With MM, develops an annual marketing budget and delivers marketing activities on time and within budget. Ability to look for cost saving if and when required without compromising overall marketing campaign







Team management- Management and development of team. Sets performance and learning objectives for Marketing Executive & Marketing Assistant. Supports team members in planning career development and long term personal goals


Profile

The Successful Marketing Manager should have the following skilset;



* Analytical and detail orientated





* A strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements





* A strategic thinker and team player





* Excellent copywriting and verbal communication skills, including presentations and report writing





* Excellent time and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines within budget and under pressure





* Market vision and the ability to acquire quickly detailed knowledge of the Leisure Travel Industry





* The ability to further develop business opportunities and to launch new initiatives


Job Offer

My client is offering the successful candidate a salary of between £150-£220pd (depending on experience) on a 9 month rolling contract
