A very established, bespoke furniture design and manufacturing business is recruiting for a Sales Support Manager.  The duties of the Sales Support Manager would be to support the Sales Director and Key Account Managers with their general day to day requests in order to continue to provide a high level of service to all clients. The company supply their services to interior designers and architects who are working on luxury residential and hospitality projects.  The role will function to manage the sales support processes. This role will not involve managing staff.

The position suits someone who would enjoy taking ownership of the sales support process. The ideal applicant will have a genuine interest in interiors / furniture and design.

The role will involve :

Work alongside Key Account Managers to obtain required details for quotations (i.e. frame price, fabric quantities, design and upholstery)

Typing up quotations for Key Account Managers

 Answering telephone lines and forwarding calls onto relevant person (ensure correct information has been taken before forwarding the call)

Loading spec sheets

Managing the info@ email account - including responding to basic client enquiries with Key Account Managers copied in so they can follow up

Updating daily deposits and balances received and allocating payment to relevant order

Controlling stock levels/ labelling of standard client samples (i.e. wood, metal)

To liaise with Projects Coordinator to see through the ordering of bespoke samples and send out/follow up with the client

Updating the internal system regularly with updates

Ordering stock, pricing and forwarding details to purchasing department

The role will also involve various office duties to include the following:

Ordering of all office supplies and stationary

Ordering of all cleaning and kitchen supply's

Ensuring all daily post is franked and ready for collection

Ordering food and drink for client functions

Booking travel/accommodation for business trips

The preferred applicant will have a good understanding of furniture design and manufacturing combined with a keen interest in high end interior design. This role can offer progression within the company into other key roles within the business.
