An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented PR and Communications Executive to join a dynamic professional services firm and play a key role in helping drive forward its PR and Communications plans. It is an exciting time to join this mid-tier firm, which has ambitious growth plans that the PR & Communications team will play a crucial role in helping to support.

This is a new role that reports into the PR & Communications lead and incorporates media relations, plus internal and external comms through a range of the firm's in-house channels. Raising the firm's profile to its target audiences is key and sharing and communicating its new brand messages is a priority for the PR & Comms team. You will be focused on working with the PR & Comms lead and PR agency to achieve coverage at a national and regional level, as well as working with sector and trade publications. You will support the PR & Communications lead in delivering the firm's PR and communications plans and develop and implement PR plans for the firm's regional offices, which will include travel to offices around the M25. Your responsibilities will include handling and responding to press enquiries and drafting press comment and arranging interviews as appropriate; generating content and editing articles for the firm's internal and external newsletters; drafting, editing and proofreading a range of written materials for various external newsletters, magazines and the firm's website; and monitoring and tracking press coverage, and producing reports and graphs and sharing coverage internally. The PR & Communications Executive will work with a PR agency to support specific campaigns and deliver against agreed objectives, often acting as a conduit between the agency and the partners and will work with other members of the team to assist in communicating consistent messages in line with the firm's brand values and goals.

The ideal candidate will be a bright self-starter, with determination to add value to an innovative firm through effective communication of its messages. The PR & Communications Executive will have at least four years' relevant PR & Comms experience gained in another professional services firm and will possess exceptional writing and editing skills, a high level of attention to detail and be confident and experienced in handling media enquiries and pitching stories. You will be highly organised with a focus on meeting deadlines and able to confidently juggle and prioritise multiple tasks to ensure timely delivery of results and have excellent verbal communication skills and be comfortable advising senior level executives.
