An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced communications professional to join a leading global law firm as a Senior Marketing Communications Manager. This is a global role that is responsible for developing and implementing various marketing communications initiatives in support of the firm's brand positioning, business development and recruitment objectives.

The role holder will play a key role in developing and guiding marketing communications activity across the firm and driving awareness and understanding of the firm's brand among external audiences. The Senior Marketing Communications Manager will support the Global Marketing Communications Director and key stakeholders in ensuring that content is of high quality, compelling and builds the firm's brand and that campaigns are effectively executed. You must become established as the organisation's marketing communications expert, creating strong relationships with internal clients and colleagues at all levels and acting as a guide and resource to partners. You will be responsible for marketing communications strategy and campaign development, working with the Global Marketing Communications Director to translate audience insights into programs and tools that support key business objectives and contributing to the development of brand strategy to ensure it supports evolving business and client needs. You will develop and implement integrated marketing communications programs to support the firm's brand positioning and practice, industry and geographic priorities and objectives; develop the firm's presence on its website; develop materials to support business development efforts, including brochures and white papers, client alerts and digital tools; oversee the production of visual and video communications that drive engagement across external channels; and manage day-to-day relationships with creative agencies and media providers. It is essential that the role holder contributes to the design of systems and processes to monitor and track success and develops and implements tools and initiatives to communicate successes and demonstrate the value of the firm's marketing communications programs globally.

Candidates must combine a bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations or a related field and at least 10 years' experience in professional services communications, preferably gained in the legal sector, with the proven ability to develop marketing communications strategies and campaigns, with a strong emphasis on social and digital activity. The Senior Marketing Communications Manager will need to be a strategic thinker with excellent communications skills you must be confident, credible and proactive and possess the gravitas to act as an adviser to colleagues, partners and senior leadership.
