My client are a well established consumer business who are growing and developing in the current market. This is a chance to join an amazing, collaborative brand who are seeking a specialist in the Trade Marketing area. This is a newly created role and a chance for the new Trade Marketing Manager to really make an impact to the business.

Client Details

My client has been around since 1987 and are doing phenomenally well in multiple areas of the business. They have different remits to the business that are performing very well and are looking for a new addition to join their well established team based in Tonbridge.

They are very much known for beauty products they supply just as well as consumer electronics! They have something for everyone and are very well known for their quality and end product. They are a niche brand who are also very well established.


This Trade Matketing Manager role is a high profile role within the UK team, supporting the UK and EMEA customers, including National Accounts such as Argos, Boots, HMV and DSG!

The main responsibilities of this Trade Markering Manager role are, but are not limited to:

Review and Analysis of EPOS sales data for key customers - drawing comparisons against budget and prior year and making recommendations based on these.

Creation and execution of annual trade marketing programmes to support commercial and Brand objectives .

Development and execution of trade / consumer promotions, including: Pricing; Sales Estimates; Operations liaison and POS development.

Providing local market feedback for new product or re-launch initiatives.

Take a proactive approach to communications and relationship with the UK & EMEA Marketing teams.

Collect and disseminate best in practise for profitable Trade Marketing Activities

Category Management - Planogram, Promotion, Merchandising; Communication for multiple accounts.

Attend key customer meetings, constantly looking for ways to improve, drive and sell out of stock!

This is such an exciting opportunity for the key candidate to come in and really hit the ground running, working with multiple different category products, understanding different remits of the business and growing it further.


The successful Trade Marketing Manager will be a graduate in Marketing, Business or related degree subject.

You will have at least of 5 years of marketing experience with at least 2 of those years with exposure to Trade Marketing.

You will have worked in the consumer electronics field, consumer durable field and preferably from a consumer beauty background.

You will be great at building customer relationships and also with Trade

You will be highly analytical and capable of interpreting and making recommendations based on category analysis across multiple retailers just as well as having excellent presentation skills .
