One of the UK's leading corporate, financial and commercial law firms is looking to appoint a Marketing & Events Executive to join its Business Development & Marketing (BD & Marketing) team. The team is responsible for working with the firm to develop the business, build relationships with existing and potential clients and manage the firm's market profile.

This role will suit an experienced marketing and events executive looking to achieve a greater impact and gain a degree of autonomy. Working closely alongside the existing Marketing Services team you will manage the events process from briefing, through to delivery and evaluation.

This is a broad role, which includes responsibility for ensuring that brand is successfully adopted and adhered to across the full marketing mix.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Brand champion and super user; * Managing on and off-line campaigns from inception; * Full cycle event support; * Research venues for bespoke event briefs and general recommendations; * Cultivating new relationships and working with existing trusteed suppliers; * Working alongside the Client Dining, Reception, and Business Development and Marketing and the PSL community to create e-vites, compile invitation lists in InterAction, manage registrations, create name badges and attendee lists for client events; * Providing on-site and front of house assistance at client and internal events, alongside the wider Events team; * Working alongside the Senior Marketing Manager and Marketing & Events Executive to ensure the pre-set budgets are vigorously adhered to and tracked; * Managing administrative aspects of the Firm's debentures, including Club Wembley, Twickenham and some football clubs. This includes managing invitations, ticket distribution, catering and travel requirements; * Assist with the production of event materials; * Managing the use of exhibition stands;* Updating and publishing any relevant in-house event calendars or announcements; * Providing on-site support for external client events; * Maintaining the hospitality, preferred suppliers, venue, private dining, preferential rates and meeting space database lists and communicating this effectively to the business; * Event campaigns using InterAction and Vuture; * Implementing social media campaigns for events, where appropriate.

You must be able to and willing to deal with and multi-task the considerable administrative workload required of this role as well as having the interest and personal skills to deal with intelligent and demanding clients. You must be detailed-oriented with excellent follow through skills with events/marketing experience in professional services, be flexible, often working evenings and sometimes at weekends, have excellent communication skills; ability and confidence to communicate with all levels. You must also be proficient in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You must also be self-motivated - you don't need a lot of direction, and will try to seek the answers on your own first, but aren't afraid to ask questions when you need to understand something better.
