Exciting contract opportunity for a channel strategy manager to work under the director of marketing for a fast-paced insurance business

Client Details

Large global insurance business - London business based in Chiswick


Marketing Planning & Analysis

* Lead / support the Account Team in long and short term account planning (growth and profitability, resourcing, etc)

* Advise on account upside opportunities (product, channel, operations) and prioritize strategies and tactics to deliver on potential

* Prioritize Marketing budget and strategy, with focus on initiatives aimed at increased take rate, reduced feature churn, and new product launches

* Partner with the Marketing Analytics team to deliver business and strategic analyses

Strategic Projects & Insights

* Maintain a deep and broad understanding of the client's financial, strategic and Marketing imperatives, product and service roadmap, and competitive dynamics in the marketplace

* Lead or partner with GM on discrete strategic projects (e.g., integration, logistics, contract negotiation)

* Interfaces with Product Management & Client Solutions to identify & prioritize product enhancements & extensions

* Provide strategic business development leverage to the GM and Sales Leads

Marketing Implementation

* Assist the GM and Sales Leads on internal and external (HQ and field) communications, positioning and selling

* Deliver the quarterly Marketing Program (campaigns and initiatives, collateral, training, tools, etc)

* Develop standardized approaches and share best practices (sales and marketing) across accounts, adopting and adapting as needed


The successful candidate will be degree educated with substantial previous marketing experience. Advanced computer skills including MS Office is required.

Language Skills: This position requires the ability to read, write, analyze and interpret complex instructions, correspondence, legal documents, financial reports and/or technical documents. It requires a high level of skill in both oral and written communication and the ability to effectively present ideas and information.

The position requires the ability to interpret complex numbers, financial data and reports. It also requires the ability to apply such concepts to create reports and financial records and present them effectively.
