Marketing Manager based in Surrey working for a leading University.

The Marketing Manager will:

* Advise on, plan and implement a strategic and operational plan and budget

* Partially manage the Marketing Support Officer and develop objectives and targets for their performance and conducting an appraisal with them annually.

* Build a clear understanding of the audience/market needs. Based on insight and intelligence gathered, produce analyses of market and consumers/stakeholders, including prospective students, key influencers and competitors. This will involve providing analyses and marketing advice to contribute to portfolio review and new course development.

* Develop appropriate relationships with other managers, colleagues and other key stakeholders to provide advice and develop and implement strategic and operational plans.

* Develop, manage and evaluate strategic and operational marketing plans to meet specific market objectives.

* Raise awareness and recognition of audience needs and expectations.

* Develop a budget plan, identifying needs and resource implications.

* Implement appropriate promotional marketing campaigns and activities

* To develop briefs for agencies, including Web, Design & Print, Media & PR, Market Research and Communications teams

* Manage any budgets allocated and deliver agreed activities within budget.

* To evaluate the impact of activities on target audiences and their decision making and identify opportunities for improvement


The Marketing Manager will have solid Marketing Communications experience ideally within Education.

You will also have strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence.

£37,256 - £40,483 + benefits
