This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and engaging internal communications professional seeking to help realise ambitious commercial objectives and drive behavioural change in a fast-paced environment within a leading legal firm.

As an integral part of an award-winning team, the successful candidate will work with the Communications and Marketing teams to shape and drive a multi-channel internal communications programme to support the business development strategies and engage employees.


* Establishing strong internal networks across all areas of the business to build deep understanding of the firm's culture and strategy; and using that knowledge to support the development of effective internal communications strategy, tactics and messaging;
* Devising and delivering an internal communications programme that: a) supports the lawyers in developing business; and b) engages and motivates the whole firm, supporting behavioural change when necessary;
* Developing and delivering communications plans for specific projects, both pro-actively as set out within the strategy and reactively as they arise;
* Acting as a central point for the firm's UK internal communications needs, ensuring coordination between departmental communications and spotting opportunities for collaboration;
* Owning and curating content for homepage of the intranet;
* Drafting and/or editing of key management communications;
* Working closely with the wider Communications team on crisis communications planning and activity - advising on messaging, working with the PR Manager to ensure consistency internally and externally, and supporting the coordination of international communications when necessary;
* Providing support to the management and wider BD and Marketing teams in developing international internal communications initiatives;
* Coaching/advising spokespeople on their internal communications style to maximise effectiveness;
* Measuring the impact of internal communications, responding to feedback and adjusting communications accordingly;
* Reporting to the UK Board on a regular basis.

You must have prior experience working within the professional services sector and be an organised individual with excellent communication skills.
