Marketing & Bid Manager, permanent job, Glasgow / Edinburgh, £35,000 - £40,000 + package

You will join a major player in the Professional Services market; A forward thinking and progressive firm with a strong track record of staff retention, career development opportunities and a friendly working environment. Working closely with firm Partners, as well as the Head of Marketing, you will help drive the future success and expansion of this organisation.

This role can be based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh, but will requires travel to the other office a couple of days each week.

Your new role

This role is a blend of marketing and bid management. You will manage the bid and tender process for the organisation,dealing with key potential clients and senior stakeholders up to Partner level. You will deliver bids and pitches, as well as developing further effective bid management and tendering processes. In addition to this, you will work with the wider marketing team, managing the B2C marketing stream for a key business area. This includes working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager on innovative digital strategies, as well as developing wider, communications and product led marketing campaigns.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you must possess a keen eye for detail, first rate research and writing skills and the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally. A background in Bid & Tender Management is not essential, but must have a real creative flair, and the ability to manage and direct marketing campaigns, as well as produce high quality written briefs and engaging marketing and bid collateral.
