Graduate Designer / CAD Designer

A Graduate Designer / CAD Designer with some experience of using AutoCAD, ArchiCAD or Solidworks is needed to join a world leader in Bar Design. Working from their head office in Stroud, you will be taking projects from concept through manufacture to installation; a degree and experience in product and furniture design would make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Founded in 1993, and boasting clients that include Barcardi, Diageo, Soho House and Carluccio's this innovative market leader continues to create and deliver the best bars in the world. Due to an exciting period of growth they are now seeking a Graduate Designer / CAD Designer to join their talented team.

Joining a friendly team of 5, the Graduate Designer / CAD Designer will play a key role in taking client requirements and translating them into comprehensive, accurate 3D CAD models and 2D CAD drawings. Overseeing the projects from brief to completion, you will liaise with clients and architects, input creative ideas, prepare projects for manufacture and anything else necessary to ensure each bar is designed, built and installed seamlessly.

To qualify. You should be a Graduate Designer / CAD Designer / CAD Technician / Bar Designer / Space Planner / Product Designer / Furniture Designer / Junior CAD Designer or similar, with a CV that demonstrates:

  • Experience of AutoCAD, ArchiCAD and /or Solidworks;
  • A minimum 2.1 degree in product or furniture design or similar;
  • Creative thinking and the ability to bring fresh ideas and a can do attitude to the design process;
  • Excellent communications skills;
  • A highly organised approach and excellent attention to detail.
