Our client are looking for a Marketing Manager to join the trade marketing team, to help to deliver the marketing campaigns for UK Construction Week and 100% Optical. You will be working across the full marketing mix, to deliver marketing materials that promote the shows and drive visitor and exhibitor attendance.
UK Construction Week: UK Construction Week is the UK's largest construction trade event. Taking place at the Birmingham NEC from 10 - 12 October 2017 the event unites over 650 exhibitors with an audience of over 30,000 trade visitors. Multi award-winning UK Construction Week (UKCW) is FREE to attend for trade visitors and consists of nine shows: Timber Expo, Build Show, Civils Expo, Plant & Machinery Live, Energy 2017, Smart Buildings 2017, Surface & Materials Show (featuring Kitchens & Bathrooms Live) and HVAC 2017 running from 10-12 October and Grand Designs Live which is open to the trade on 11-12 October.
100% Optical: 100% Optical is the largest optical event in the UK running between 27-29 January 2018, bringing together over 8,000 professionals to learn, network and discover the latest products, technologies and solutions on an international stage.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2-4 years' experience in a marketing manager - full marketing mix role (ie not specialised in social media, digital etc, but experienced across the board), and experience in the exhibitions/events is preferred.
He/she will have excellent organisation skills with great attention to detail as well as being able to hit the ground running to assist a busy and dynamic hard working team.
You will be confident, ambitious, an excellent communicator and have the ability to manage multiple projects and deliver them on time. The ideal candidate will be personable, hard-working, efficient and organised, a copy-writing whizz, and have a great sense of humour!
