The successful (Distribution) Marketing Manager will share brand and communication strategy and best practice with a network of international distributors, guiding them to great success and influence. You will champion and promote the business needs across the distributor business; achieving the yearly targets and ensuring that the brand portfolio receives focus and clear priorities versus the competition.

A successful global player with a portfolio of recognised brands; this business requests an achieved Marketing Manager to provide clarity and ownership to the international distributor network. Supported by a strong team of business development managers and marketing analysts; this business has a strong international presence and an inviting office environment. A candidate from a distributor, export and trade marketing FMCG and Consumer Durables/ Electronics environment will succeed in this position.


The successful (Distribution) Marketing Manager will ensure that the brand portfolio receives focus from the distributor network; working effectively with the Business Development Managers to support the delivery of the international plan.

* You must be able to gather consumer and retailer insights and recommend marketing and pricing strategies across an international landscape.
* You must manage, co-ordinate and actively participate in international events, shows and trade fairs to ensure the A&P budget delivers excellent ROI. You should be inquisitive, and question the norm of what has been done previously, seeking new and innovative ways to solve challenges.
* You will work closely with Licensors to gain and provide regular updates; instrumental in the execution of local marketing activities.
* Evaluate and recommend go/no go new product initiatives and forecast, review and adjust on a monthly and quarterly basis.


The successful candidate will join this Surrey based Marketing Manager position with a background in consumer products brand and trade marketing gained from practical experience with a proven track record of results. Ideally, you will also have worked within an international / multiple-market role and provide a confident appraisal of distribution/ export marketing. This is not a classical Marketing Manager role and therefore, the successful candidate will need to have strong operational ability, and a confident blend of sales and marketing to assist in their delivery.
