The Product Manager is a pivotal role within the business that is responsible for maintaining, analysing, reporting and developing the Brand portfolio and offering to the customer base.

The purpose of the role is to deliver an effective brand strategy and growth the profitability of the business.

A leading automotive business based in Bury which is rapidly expanding.

The Product Manager sits at the heart of the business offering great exposure to a number of stakeholders.

The Product Manager key responsibilities include:

* Total management of the performance of the brand and its commercial positioning

* Act as the product ambassador and provide knowledge on brands within their remit to internal and external stakeholders

* Analyse data to draw out actionable insights to enhance each brands' performance

* Identify, develop and implement brand / product development strategies

* Analyse market potential, maintain internal and external forecasts, gap analysis

* Analyse and report on market trends relating to customer behaviour and selections

* Analyse and report on external market factors

* Continuously develop and deliver strategic marketing plans for each brand

* Identify and co-ordinate the development, documentation and implementation of value adding development strategies.

* Oversee the promotional marketing plans and ensure brand guidelines are consistent

* Control monitor and report on the effectiveness of all campaigns


The successful Product Manager will:

* Be a commercially astute individual with a strong bias towards analysis

* Have strong attention to detail

* Have the ability to analyse, interpret and present data into meaningful business strategy

* Strong MS Excel knowledge and application is essential

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

* Have pride in delivering with high standards

* Have strong organisation skills

* Experience in the automotive industry would be advantageous but not essential

Job Offer

Salary up to £27,000 depending on the level of experience plus benefits.
