The Account Manager vacancy in Huddersfield is a vital hire to ensure the highest standards are delivered consistently.

The role will be heavily client facing with an expectation of building relationships, and growing the accounts financially.

It will be demanding, fast paced but rewarding. The work is varied, creative and innovative; resulting in an exciting opportunity that would be a great move for an agency candidate at either Senior Account Manager level, or a sensible sideways move.

To be considered for the role, please ensure the below skills and/or experience is present before applying:

* A minimum 2 years agency experience. Ideally 3 years. The agency must have exposure to multiple channels and ideally multiple sectors
* Comfortable being client facing, taking briefs and managing expectations. This will also lead to building relationships and spotting commercial opportunities to grow accounts financially.
* Must be experienced working in a fast paced, challenging environment and more importantly, must thrive in that environment.
* The Account Manager will be responsible for the development of an Account Executive. Ideally somebody with experience of management would be advantageous. Without that, a passion for people development is essential
* A history of working closely with other departments. Studio, freelancers, outsourcing to print agencies etc.
* A natural self starter with faultless organisational skills
* As well as meticulous delivery skills, you must be an avid thinker. A desire to work in a strategy type role is important. Clients will look to you for guidance on the now, but also the future of their brands.
* Travel locally, nationally and even internationally is expected, so you must be comfortable with this
