The Head of Website Development & Digital Marketing will develop and implement the digital strategy across all channels. The role will be instrumental in the development of a 'best in class' customer journey and user experience. This is a diverse and varied role which will be responsible for developing the 'front end' of the website, driving optimisation and subsequent conversion rates. The successful candidate will have a passion for digital marketing and the technical experience of developing transnational websites. The company is embarking on a significant and market leading upgrade of it's platform and it's associated web capability. Working for the group CMO, the GM of the division and closely with the IT division this role will assume an influential and high profile position in the company.

* Website development and user experience optimisation.
* Redeveloping the look, feel and functionality of the customer journey.
* Managing the wider digital team to develop content into the market place and focus in on generic rankings on search, alongside outreach and link building.
* Overseeing all SEM, developing the associated keyword strategy.
* Leading the development of the overall social strategy.
* Working closely with the analytic's team to develop industry wide reporting tools.

The candidate will an experienced head of website development, digital marketing or ecommerce. He/She will be capable of driving the strategy throughout the business and take ownership for the results. Already an adept digital/website development and marketing professional the candidate will probably come from a consumer background and will have a highly commercial outlook. Of equal importance will be their ability to collaboratively drive the project and manage the team around them to deliver on the desired ambitions
