This role has been created to transform Ocado into a distinctive, evocative brand advertiser. The right candidate will own and develop the experiments in brand marketing that we have executed so far and take us to the next level in explaining what we stand for to a wider audience. They will help build a platform that, alongside existing strong Performance Marketing, Creative and Branding functions, will help Ocado reach new, high-potential customers.

We're looking for a smart, numerate, inquisitive individual with a passion for understanding what motivates consumers. The perfect candidate will be able to evaluate new ideas and examine how brand communications work across different media.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Commission and use research to identify key market segments and effective positioning

· Design above the line multi-channel campaign strategy

· Justify use of budget for expanding brand advertising scope

· Devise campaign-specific KPIs and put in a place a reporting structure to effectively assess and report on success

· Work on achieving buy-in with colleagues and senior management

· Collaborate with internal PR, Creative, Performance and Digital Marketing functions to produce integrated, effective campaigns

· Manage external suppliers and retained agencies where appropriate to ensure effective delivery of projects to time and budget

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

· Strong experience in working for consumer marketing organisations with a track record of delivering impactful, effective integrated above the line marketing campaigns

· Evidence of proposition development and setting above the line campaign strategy for a growth brand

· Evidence of understanding appropriate ad testing approach

· Evidence of evaluating media agencies and media plans

· Ability to explain the successes and failures of previous strategy execution and demonstrate learning from the experience
