This internationally recognised, consumer electronics manufacturer and retailer is famous for its digital and home appliances and operates in over 200 local subsidiaries worldwide. Its UK head office in Weybridge has a dynamic marketing team working with new technologies and advanced expertise that reinforces its status as a global organisation and offers an outstanding office environment with modern facilities.
Due to leave, a dedicated member of the trade marketing team is needed for the UK business on a 12 month contract.

Your new role
You will co-ordinate with Account Managers to create and develop customer and channel plans that deliver to commercial and brand targets. This role will be highly customer focused and will require you to meet with customers to develop and maintain a good understanding of objectives, strategies and key areas of focus. With the knowledge that you gain you will create consumer campaigns that engage with consumers at multiple touch points whilst setting the tonality and messaging for the UK and Ireland as a whole.
You will work with Market data to understand your consumers, ensure consistent, high quality and timely marketing communications are implemented with retailers, and develop key trade plans and sales tools including robust sell in decks with rationale for all product, pricing, promotional recommendations.

What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience in a Trade Marketing role will see you succeed, and this experience coupled with knowledge of the consumer electronics industry will be highly beneficial. You will have strong background in developing marketing campaigns with the use of POS materials and you will be comfortable in a customer facing role.
Specifically, you will need demonstrable previous experience in a channel/trade/customer marketing role, experience across a variety of marketing or integrated communications disciplines, including Online and Offline disciplines, and an understanding of key marketing fundamental concepts - brand value, positioning, consumer insight, sales out vs sales in focus. Any experience with e-tailers on online tools is highly advantageous.
