Your responsibilities as a Senior PR Manager are to oversee the general strategy of external communications and PR related activities within the Financial Services division, having in account the numerous changes the company is undergoing and raising the profile and name of the brand at all times.

Your responsibilities as a Senior PR Manager are:



* Work with the most senior leaders in large, complex organisations.

* Work alongside, or managing agencies.

* Manage people and colleagues to succeed.

* Build a strong network of media contacts across national and trade titles.

* Provide advice to senior stakeholders for proactive and reactive media relations and strategic counsel covering long-term profile raising needs.

* Create opportunities out of third-party activity and identify proactive media relations activities.

* Report, monitor and analyse coverage to plan for future activity



* Serve as deputy for senior colleagues to advice on corporate issues.



* Delegate work to colleagues and oversee it to ensure deadlines are met.


Profile

Based in East-Central London, the Senior PR Manager requires:



* Ability to plan long term proactive campaigns to build key spokespeople's profiles in the press on key commercial issues

* Understanding of the wider business environment and the impact actions can have on client relationships

* Evidence of an ability to spot issues-led media opportunities ahead of time

* Ability to produce rapid reaction statements to capitalise on breaking news issues

* Comfort advising senior stakeholders with often competing demands

* Willingness to innovate

* Live, and be an advocate of, the firm's values

* Willingness to lead on firm wide reputational campaigns, working closely with the head of communications and head of press
