PageGroup are looking to hire an Insights and Innovation Manager into the business. This role, based in London, will play a key part in assessing trends and disruptions in a consistently evolving market in order to propose solutions and ensure the business continues to be a leading innovator in the recruitment space.

PageGroup are hiring an Insights and Innovation Manager into the business which will play an important role in supporting the company's ambition to be a leading innovator within the recruitment space.

This is a business critical role that will be tasked with feeding meaningful insights into the executive board that will impact on the overall operations of the group, technology used, data and staffing. The role will also be responsible for piloting projects across the business.

We are looking to speak to manager level candidates who have similar strategic and hands on experience or candidates who have recently finished an MBA who are looking to work in a challenging role that will be key to the business.

The role will be based in the London Headquarters.

Detailed Job Description

Reporting to the Group Marketing Director, this role will be responsible for:

Conducting continuous research into innovation and carry out ongoing potential supplier assessment, to create a quarterly report to the Executive Board including:

  • Market and commercial trends and insights
  • Recruitment-specific innovations
  • Innovations in other industries and potential for impact/adoption in recruitment
  • Commercial positioning that highlights areas that could enhance or disrupt the business, both now and in the future

Manage the internal communications and collaboration process around innovation, including embracing and influencing existing initiatives and maintaining alignment amongst key stakeholders

Manage the Group-level innovation channel, providing a forum for new ideas, highlighting regional success, and developing employee recognition of the business as an innovative recruiter.

Explore operating and business models on a longer horizon that might be driven by ongoing innovation in the recruitment and wider environment

Spend time with key stakeholders in the senior leadership team to understand current thinking and opinions on innovation

Working closely with both the operational and non-operational community to build and understanding of the 'game changing' priorities.

Responsible for piloting and testing projects and new processes throughout the business

Candidate's Profile

What we are looking for the Insights and Innovation Manager to have:

Manager level experience - strategic and hands on

We are open on background and industry but candidates should have experience with the following:

  • Researching competitor behaviour and market insights
  • Testing and trying innovative technologies and practices
  • Writing proposals
  • Liaising with senior stakeholders to propose initiatives and advise on innovation

We would also be interested in hearing from candidates who have recently finished an MBA who are looking to work in a business critical role that will be reporting to business leaders, shaping decisions about the future of the business and implementing or testing new practice.
