Senior Architect/Technologist - Public Estates

My client is an international consultancy and construction company with a turnover of nearly £2Bn and operating in 21 sectors from five global hubs. For more than 26 years their adventurous spirit has driven them to do better and drive change through the industry.

With an in-house ability in place they offer a complete integrated design service for their clients. Their teams are made up of experienced project managers, architects, structural and building services engineers, landscape and interior designers, master planners and urban regeneration specialists, working in close collaboration with their other construction services.

They have a deep understanding of the full project lifecycle across education, public and private estates, residential, commercial office and urban regeneration sectors. Their portfolio ranges from small scale extensions and refurbishments to large scale programmes valued at £500m.

What they are looking for:

  • The opportunity is for a Senior Architect or Technologist to join their Public Estates team mainly working om MOJ and Home Office projects.
  • This person will be developing the projects from feasibility to tender including Employers Requirements.
  • Post tender you would be Technical Advisor reviewing the contractors proposals and site operations.
  • The successful candidate would be capable of leading the design team and client engagements as well as running more than one project at a time. An assistant will support you with deliverables but you would need to be able schedule the deliverables and manage the assistant.
  • The candidate would need to be very organised and confident in structuring their work load and will require a good technical knowledge
