Your responsibilities as a Marketing and Business Development Executive are to support and implement all the marketing plans in the region assigned (covering materials, events, target lists, cold calls, PR and social media), propose and support market research activities and evaluate, measure and share the performance of sales and marketing team, to ensure better team results.

Description

Your responsibilities as a Marketing and Business Development Executive are:



* Supporting and implementing BD and Marketing plans (the plans cover marketing material, events, target lists & cold calls, PR, social media) in collaboration with the BD Manager, BD Director and Marketing Manager.
* Support delivery of sector and service line BD and marketing plans
* Determine market research needs and if appropriate arrange for appropriate research
* Evaluate, measure and share the performance of all their sales and marketing activities through monthly reports
* Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organisations
* Undertake regular review of the sales activities and make recommendations as to what changes may be necessary as required
* Share information with the full marketing team and Sales Partners
* Attend industry and external functions, network and provide feedback
* Identify opportunities for campaigns and monitor competitor campaigns
* Writing and proof reading copy
* Organising events including seminars
* Maintaining and updating databases
* Assist with preparation of tender documents and pitches
* Ensure Marketing Manager is kept abreast of all local Marketing activities to enable a central record to be maintained and shared
* Uphold the brand and the reputation of the BD and Marketing team.


Profile

Based in Kent, but at least travelling 2 days a week to other offices (mainly London) requires:



* Previous experience (1-2 years expected) preferably in business development.
* Previous marketing experience, preferably in Professional services or similar sector.
* Self-starter with confidence to network.
* Good persuasion skills, with the capacity to approach to peers and senior partners.
