Communications Manager required for excellent opportunity with a Cornwall based consumer product business.


Client Details

Our client is a really exciting consumer durables business with an instantly recognisable brand name. Their products are available at high end retailers and they are looking to expand their distribution network. Description

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Communications Manager will work alongside the E-commerce Manager and the Brand team in order to spread the company's message far and wide through a structured, innovative, dynamic and, when called for, humorous way.

You will lead a team of four communications professionals in delivering exciting and engaging PR activities including celebrity endorsement and product placement. You'll work with some exciting PR agencies in order to achieve this.

In addition you'll liaise with the E-Commerce team to develop a CRM strategy around acquiring and retaining both trade customers and end user consumers. You'll also monitor the company's social media accounts and provide gripping content where required.

Of equal importance to all of the external facing communications, you will be responsible for internal communications too, producing an engaging monthly newsletter to keep the whole of the business entertained with all the latest news, gossip and "do's" , plus any other adhoc project work as and when it comes up!

Profile

The successful Communications Manager will have experience of leading a team to deliver best in class communications across a number of channels. Most important will be your ability to:

- be the voice of the brand through creative output (both internally and externally)

- develop strong, innovative PR opportunities

- put together engaging, targeted communications to retain customers

- manage and monitor social media channels
