An opportunity to be part of an exciting business development area within a global corporation, supporting the Channel Marketing Team.

To support the corporations channel marketing team activity to ensure all sales and marketing activities drive a strong commercial return.

Client Details

My client is the global leader in consumer electronics and the core components that go into them.


* Support the team with the development of the channel marketing strategy based on strong consumer, channel, competitor and market insight.

* Support the channel marketing team, allowing them to build strong channel marketing programmes that overlay channel partners' own life-cycle and calendar plans.

* H2 Priorities

* Support the Channel Marketing team to develop a cohesive quarterly marketing plan and 13-week promotional calendar for each account and each function to sell through stock in a timely manner.

* Working with Senior CMM's on the channel MKT spend, tracking and ROI

* Attend on behalf of channel marketing where required in cross functional business planning sessions: quarterly planning, finance harmonisation, monthly sales & marketing meetings etc.

* Support the Senior CMM's by working with senior stakeholders across the business, where required, to ensure strong alignment between channel marketing and other teams (commercial, product, retail, training, brand & central marketing functions)

* Create & manage regular communication & reporting to the wider business e.g. monthly newsletter, EHQ & HQ reports, channel marketing compliance etc.

* Support and manage tactical activities across cross function teams, such as:

* Quarterly contact centre road show planning & execution

* In Life Passions & Propositions with Brand team

* Channel incentive programmes

* On boarding with Brand team

* Switching with Brand team

* Seasonal Activation with Product Management, Content & Services teams

* Launch GTM

* Olympics Torch Relay with sponsorship team

* Retail Experiential / Pilots with innovation team

* Online CDJ & CRM Development with digital team

* Search Development with Channel Partners with Brand team

* Asset bank transfer with agencies


* Degree or similar qualification, plus marketing qualification

* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar channel marketing role

* High levels of expertise required with Microsoft Office, analysis & reporting

* Experience of managing marketing budgets

* Ability to handle multiple internal and external stakeholders in order to successfully deliver on key projects

* Face to face customer experience essential

* Must be able to multi task and project manage large projects

* Must be a team worker

* Strong attention to detail

Job Offer

9 months at first instance, £200 - £270 per day via PAYE or LTD.
