This Assistant Product Manager role based in Tonbridge is a chance for to work for a leading FMCG / Consumer focused business who are booming in todays current market.

A newly created role, reporting into the Head of Marketing, the Assistant Product Manager will manage the EMEA process of bringing products to market.

Responsibilities will include:

Develop product category strategies for a long term basis
Liasise with markets to ensure expectations are met
Project manage delivery of the NPD roadmap, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders ensuring timely launch of new products
Ordering and distribution of product samples
Propose and review product pricing to agreed margin requirements
Implement the marketing strategic plans in conjunction with local country marketing teams and ROW distributors, providing support and tactical direction with accountability for: NPD, Promotional activity, MARCOMS, PR, POS, Advertising, Social Media, Packaging design
Trade Marketing support for UK team


The required candidate for the role will have the following experience:

Solid commercial experience in an international marketing environment
Marketing / Business degree (or marketing experience)
Proven development and implementation of strategic brand/product business plans across UK and EU markets
Strategic planning, tactical implementation experience
Experienced and confident communicator with proven presentation skills to internal and external stakeholders
Good analytical skills, including ROI
Third party agency management experience
Experienced negotiator (overseas negotiation an advantage)
Positive attitude with ability to adapt quickly to change and manage priorities in a high paced challenging commercial environment.
