Marketing, Product and Communications Specialist

From £40,000 per annum

Our client, a global market leader in the field of data management solutions, is currently seeking to expand their team with the addition of a Marketing, Product and Communications Specialist to plan and execute content-driven marketing campaigns to drive actionable leads for the sales team.

If you are a B2B marketing specialist from within a software or technology-based organisation with exposure to generating executive level thought-leadership content, please read on!

The Marketing, Product and Communications Specialist will be responsible for planning and executing go-to-market activities around the organisation's data quality solutions within one of their flag-ship offerings where they are already leading from the front in terms of both brand visibility and market-share.

You will work closely with sales, the wider marketing team and senior leadership to deliver maximum exposure of the brand within the executive data community. Creating content alongside internal and external thought leaders will be a key part of your role, and you will continually drive improvements in customer engagement and lead conversion.

This is a high-visibility role within a lean and closely-knit team, where you will also deputise the Marketing Manager wherever appropriate.

Key responsibilities:

-Planning and executing monthly content-driven marketing programmes to drive sales leads for the sales team, positioning the brand as the leader within the data management/data quality marketplace.

-Working with sales to proactively seek improvements to conversion levels, ensuring the sales team are fully educated regarding the latest content.

-Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure content is replicated across all viable channels.

-Communicate the company's revised brand purpose and champion "storytelling" around this.

-Leading marketing project collaboration for the data quality business.

-Supporting the delivery of strategic projects - e.g. migration of a free data profiling tool.

-Playing a key role in the organisation's engagement with the analyst community where appropriate.

-Effectively allocating marketing spend to support both individual activities or wider, strategic projects.

-Reporting on key performance metrics, using these to drive improvements in both marketing and sales performance.

-Understanding and participating in performance management processes.

-Actively contributing to a culture where customers are treated fairly and ethically at all times.

Experience/Skills required:

-Existing B2B marketing experience, ideally within a software or technology organisation.

-Experience in generating executive level thought leadership content.

-Strong communication and influencing skills; the ability to articulate and sell-in ideas to stakeholders at all levels of the business.

-Proactive approach and the drive to "make things happen".

-Strong ethics, commercial acumen and a blend of operational and strategic skills.

-Previous agency and supplier management skills.
