* Working closely with the business unit, leading the development of the conversion marketing plans for specified business unit to meet interlock targets.
* Act as primary business unit interface for both the planning and delivery of marketing activity.
* Lead the development and delivery of all conversion journey marketing communications campaigns for specific business unit, working across paid, earned and owned media to deliver optimal marketing contribution.
* Lead the team in developing best in class, compelling conversion communications that are ground in customer insight and leverage previous learnings.
* Ensure activity is delivered on time, within budget and with the appropriate risk and legal approvals.
* Leading the allocation of investment for area to support marketing plans, to ensure best possible return. Ensuring accurate and effective day to day budget management.
* Leading the planning and implementation of structured tests, leveraging new conversion technology / capability as it comes on board, to consistently improve performance.


* Proven marketing planning and marketing communications delivery experience, preferably in a large scale direct response area
* Experience of end-to end ideally from UK consumer finance
* Experience of data driven marketing, programmatic activity and digital media optimisation.
* Experience of working with business units. Strong stakeholder management and influencing.
* Able to work at pace and under pressure, making appropriate prioritisation calls.
* Strong judgement. Able to deal with ambiguity and lead through change.
* Experience of working with / manage agency partners.
* Ability to handle complex data and make recommendations to improve performance.
* Previous experience of leading and developing direct reports / teams.
