Key Accountabilities:

-Identify, build and manage a substantial and sustainable new business pipeline through existing relationships and by developing new strategic relationships with intermediaries (banks, accountancy firms with no insolvency specialism, lawyers, industry associations and independent financial advisers etc.)
-Build relationships within the group to enable cross selling.
-Source new businesses by establishing profitable long term referral relationships
-Identify opportunities and engage with other areas of the Firm to include service, sector and office teams as and where appropriate.
-Be a key point of contact and support for relevant members of the team during the sales process.
-Work with business development, office colleagues and partners to produce a business development and sales strategy which includes key measures of success.
-Work with marketing to develop and produce marketing collateral needed to support business development and sales activity.
-Develop, drive and evaluate sales campaigns using ROI objectives.
-Monitor and report on competitor activity.
-Use local expertise and insight to position the firm appropriately within the market.
-Work with PR and Comms to raise profile of key people.

You need:

-Strong networking skills
-A mature approach to intelligent business development coupled with a positive and tenacious attitude.
-Experience of working in a consultative environment with partners and senior managers.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Strong commercial awarenes.
-Experience of compiling a BD plan and researching sales opportunities.
-Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
-Experience in identifying, building and managing a successful referral network.
