Detailed Job Description

The Senior Marketing Manager will support the Director of Marketing and Propositions in implementing the marketing and communications strategy in order to maximise the sales of Mortgage Brain's technology solutions to UK intermediaries.

The role will manage Mortgage Brain's 'live' and real time social media communications including Intermediary Adviser firms, Lenders, Mortgage Networks and Corporates ensuring that Mortgage Brain's messages are consistent and that the tone of voice is extended throughout the communication methods available.

The Senior Marketing Manager will also support in written pieces of work such as tenders, articles, advertorials and company bios.

Key accountabilities include

Leading, managing and motivating the Marketing team and collaborating with colleagues in order to maximise output.

Taking responsibility as the interface for Mortgage Brain's social media (primarily Twitter and LinkedIn) and be the internal expert for promoting social media activity.

Posting daily social media output and manage, inspire and strengthen the interaction with colleagues across all mediums.

Day to day maintenance of the main product and services website plus the conveyancing and second charge standalone websites.

Managing the project to launch a new main product and services website in 2018, influencing design and copy.

Re-writing product guides and other supporting product information to be user friendly, using the relevant tone of voice and suitable technical terms.
Creating a business case and reasoning for the launch of a potential external Adviser Forum in order to support online chat and webinars that are currently available.

Supporting and taking responsibility for the Autumn roadshow booking site.

Providing written pieces of work with regards to tenders, blogs, articles, advertorials.

Candidate's Profile

The successful candidate for the role of Senior Marketing Manager will be a creative wordsmith who thrives on the chance to flex their skill of the written word and has a proven track record in driving consistent quality marketing and communications.

In addition you will possess the ability to create sales oriented and customer friendly campaigns and content. Any marketing experience within the finance sector will be considered highly advantageous.

The Senior Marketing Manager will also be able to demonstrate:

A passion for all things marketing with 5 years or more experience in a B2B marketing role.

Excellent creative writing and copy writing skills.

Proven delivery of marketing and communications projects leading to improved and measurable results.

The know-how to bring propositions, marketing messages and promotions to life, whilst remaining focused on brand and customer journey.

A proven knowledge of running social media accounts.

Experience of creating and supporting digital marketing campaigns.
