A newly created role for a talented Bid manager to join a national construction business based in Lancashire.

My client is a national construction business based in Lancashire.


Description

The Bid Manager is a newly created role that will be responsible for managing and developing all bids, tenders and pre-qualification questionnaires commercially in line with the business strategy and guidelines.







Key responsibilities:



* Create and agree the bid strategy, ensure the strategy is communicated across the business





* Implement all bud procedures





* Source bids and tenders that would be profitable to the business





* Manage all pre-qualification questionnaires, bids, tenders through design, production and submission stages within relevant timescales





* Ensure all content is accurate and well presented





* Ensure up to date knowledge of the marketplace, competitor positioning and the business USP





* Responsible for client presentation, interviews and site visits where required





* Obtaining client feedback





* Ensuring all winning bids are communicated to the wider business


Profile

The successful candidate will have relevant experience of developing effective processes and procedures to manage the bids and tender process for the business.



They will be a self-starter that is commercially astute, organised and has excellent communication skills.


Job Offer

Salary is £25,000 to £35,000 depending on the level of experience.
