An excellent opportunity has arisen for a senior manager to join a leading management consultancy firm as a Global Key Account Programme Leader. The role offers both an exciting challenge and genuine prospect of progression for the right candidate.

The role sits within the global business generation team in London and reports to the Global Managing Director for the function. The role holder will be responsible for driving the development and growth of the firm's global key account programme. The firm's aim is to make its top global and regional accounts a greater part of its thriving business. To do this the Global Key Account Programme Leader will require a dynamic and relentless approach and the ability to both lead on change and create a strong performance culture. Acting as the global champion for the key account programme, the role will be both strategic and tactical and will entail working with a wide range of stakeholders across the global business and assuming the position of go-to person for any key account issues in the business. Your duties will include setting and delivering a plan that drives year on year growth across global and regional key accounts; supporting and motivating key account managers to achieve success through improved planning and execution; leading a drive to increase income through cross-selling and through the delivery of service excellence and consistency; driving new accounts with high growth potential to achieve success quickly; and promoting success in key account development through both internal and external channels.

The ideal candidate be a bright graduate with prior experience in a similar business development or generation role and also hands on major key account leadership in a professional services organisation. The Global Key Account Programme Leader will be an effective influencer and must be passionate about acting as an ambassador for change in the company. You will have a 'can do' attitude and be a confident self-starter with a clear ability to work alongside key stakeholders to achieve results. Quick thinking, curious and innovative, as well as comfortable managing ambiguity, the successful candidate will have the ability to make real business impact and drive a change in key account management and team behaviour.
