Graphic Designer - Corporate Literature
Our client is an established design agency based in the heart of London, with a track record of producing high-quality design for professional service companies. Their Clerkenwell-based studio is an immediately friendly and welcoming environment for a designer that takes pride in creating beautiful brief-hitting work.
But first let's talk about the big grey guy with the flappy ears standing in the corner: The studio is PC-based and you'll be working on both Creative Suite AND Powerpoint.
Still want to know more? Good.
The main types of project are competitive pitches, marketing collateral and other deliverables for a range of financial services, legal, property and other professional services clients.
You'll be adapting to various visual identity systems and working with multiple client brands, taking complex briefs from clients and colleagues and managing the production process from start to finish
The ideal designer will be able to think creatively, be detail-oriented and believe in consistently delivering high quality designs and exceeding client expectations. Every designer acts as their own account manager so you'll build solid relationships with the client by phone, email and in person.
As you'd expect for such a role, the successful candidate will work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining accuracy. They should be flexible, enthusiastic and client-focused and have an excellent understanding of the print process.
Experience in working with digital projects is certainly a bonus and the agency will offer plenty of opportunity to expand that side of your skill base.
Overall this is the perfect role for a designer with four or five years experience in corporate design - agency or in-house. Someone up-beat, sociable and determined to do their best on every project. Bring those attributes and the agency will let you go as far as you want.
