An award winning civil and structural consultancy with operations in the UK, Ireland and the Middle East, are looking for an experienced PR professional to join their London office and help assist in the communications and PR during an acquisition.

The role would suit a proactive individual, with a can-do attitude, who is used to working in a fast-paced engineering environment. The successful candidate will be sharp, creative and have a keen eye for a story, with a well-developed network in the modern media world.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Work with key stakeholders to deliver a programme of PR activity to build the clients reputation as a leading civil and structural consultancy through a range of communication activities, including media relations, content writing and digital engagement.
* Ensure all branding is consistent across all marketing materials.
* Establish name recognition by developing a PR/Marketing strategy.
* Help convey the positive impacts of this acquisition.
* Act as primary point of contact for media enquiries.
* Strategy development and target short listing.
* Some digital marketing including website content.
* Post acquisition integration.


Preferably educated to degree level, with some form or professional qualification in journalism and/or public relations.


* Experience working in a similar PR or Communications role in a B2B environment is desirable.
* Experience promoting a merger or acquisition.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Creating, developing and managing a campaign from beginning to end.
* Experience building and maintaining relationships with key media influences and journalists.
* Abilty to work in a stand-alone environment.
* Developing clear and consistent communications.
