Head of Venue Strategy and Planning
Competitive Package + Excellent Benefits

Play a key part within the world's favourite football club by driving strategies to improve and grow Manchester United's match day products and services, harnessing the power of insight and marketing

The Role:

In this key position, you will build on the success and profitability of our Venue business, developing strategies and recommendations to deliver commercial growth alongside a world-class fan/visitor experience across our ticketing, hospitality, membership, conferences & events and museum & stadium tour business areas. To this end you will undertake detailed business and financial modelling, manage our Research & Analysis team to deliver real insights for senior decision-makers, and oversee the Venue Marketing department to support the delivery of core revenue streams for the Club. At the same time, you will co-ordinate annual budgeting and planning, assist the Director of Venue with high profile projects, and build productive relationships with key stakeholders across the Club including Legal, Finance, HR, Media, Sponsorship, Retail and Group Operations.

What We're Looking For:

Of graduate calibre, you will bring sound experience in strategic roles, gained either in-house or within a management consultancy. Needless to say, this will have given you exceptional analytical and presentation skills, and you will be adept at managing change, setting goals and prioritising responsibilities. Above all, you will be a real self-starter who can think creatively and incisively, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail whilst taking an overview of everything we do. The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate a full range of soft skills to work with a number of stakeholders across the business.

The Club:

Manchester United is one of the biggest football clubs in the world and one of the most iconic brands in sport. It has a rich history of success; inspiring over 659 million passionate followers and enjoying unparalleled success both on and off the pitch throughout its 138 year heritage. Manchester United has the largest club stadium of any football team in the United Kingdom with a capacity of 75,668.
