Client Details

Fast-growing boutique financial advisory firm based in Mayfair


* Define, lead, measure and report on the marketing strategy for UK/Europe and contribute to a global marketing strategy for 2018 and beyond.

* Manage an external communications manager; setting the direction, priorities and mentoring them to drive output of a consistently high standard.

* Be the brand guardian, ensure guidelines and best practice are followed and understood across the business. Deliver brand initiatives to drive continuous improvement.

* Create and manage all marketing collateral including print collateral, digital assets, advertising and sponsorship and event branding to promote the benefits of the firm.

* Oversee PR and external communications activity.

* Scope, project manage, deliver and demonstrate ROI for targeted marketing campaigns e.g. thought leadership, research reports, and corporate reports (our annual review), that enable the firm to reach specific targets for sectors/geographies.

* Develop digital channels, with a particular focus on our website and Linkedin/Twitter: constantly tracking, analysing, testing and implementing changes across the whole digital spectrum to drive brand awareness and convert leads to clients.

* Deliver high-quality e-marketing to clients and subscribers (manage the calendar, the build, send and reporting).

* Operate as a business partner to the five sector heads, to develop and deliver sector marketing plans.

* Scope and implement an insight/research programme to help the firm understand our audiences e.g. their perceptions of us, their website/communications needs.

* Oversee the development and delivery of the content strategy and editorial planner.

* Manage the events calendar and oversee the delivery of seminars, conferences and other events; managing events when required/appropriate.

* Oversee a lead strategy utilising CRM and a contact strategy for potential targets which includes researching sectors, identifying suitable target audiences, building prospect lists and delivery of the strategy

* Manage the relationship with agencies, ensuring excellent quality, delivery and value for money

* Manage the marketing budget


* You'll be able to move nimbly from strategic thinking, to rolling up your sleeves and delivering excellent marketing activity

* Full marketing mix experience within a corporate environment, with a proven track record of delivering successful marketing activity

* Professional services background and financial services exposure essential

* Experience in a sales driven marketing function

* A good level of financial literacy

* You'll be able to demonstrate excellent planning skills, an ability to effectively prioritise your workload and work autonomously

* Excellent written and oral communications skills, able to establish yourself as a trusted expert within the business

* Team management (including development and recruitment)

* Evidence of management of external suppliers and budgets in a B2B environment.

* Extensive senior stakeholder management exposure

* Confident, proactive, resilient and able to work closely with a range of stakeholders

* A drive to succeed and influence change

* High standards; with an attention to detail and motivation to continuously exceed expectations
